THE SCOUTS
Who's who
Not only do the Coaches and Scouts at this years Combine have a TON of experience that will help each player better understand how to use their skills to showcase themselves better, but some of them are coming armed with OPPORTUNITIES for players to make an impression on them for open roster spots for teams they manage.
RUSTY GLAZE - San Diego Dynasty was the last person we thought would add to the DYNASTY roster but when he met Matt Kling at the Combine last year, things happened. Rusty will be taking notes on players he thinks will be a good fir for teams he knows may be looking for position players.
GREG PAULEY - AC DALLAS & AC DIESEL
After hosting invite-only tryouts Coach Pauley is excited to check out all combine participants to see of there is a fit to be had with his Pro and Semi Pro teams. Amazing opportunity to make an impression on one of the best known coaches in paintball!
JASON EDWARDS - TAMPA BAY DAMAGE
Local Florida Semi Pro and divisional teams will be at the event scouting for players that might make a great fit in the Tampa Bay Damage program.
BRETT MESSER - U-19 TEAM USA
Brett just wrapped up his Rookie Pro Season with Los Angeles Infamous and brings a lot of perspective to players trying to make moves in their paintball career. As an owner and manager of Semi Pro team the Bay State Bandits Brett also brings the right experience when it comes to managing a team. We are looking forward to getting Team USA off the ground this season.
MIKE PAXSON - TEAM USA
Born and raised in Southern California, Mike Paxson was introduced to paintball at the age of 15. He played his first pro event at the age of 20 with historical team, the California Bushwackers. He then went on to play for pro teams like Chicago Aftershock, Las Vegas LTZ, and Los Angeles Ironmen. It was with the Ironmen when he won back to back World Cup events including winning a Pro Series Title.
Mike has over 23 years of paintball experience and has even taught some of the current pros that are part of the Combine today. He was part of many paintball firsts including being one of the first pro players to conduct internationally known paintball clinics alongside legends like Rocky Cagnoni. He coached numerous successful paintball divisional championship teams including coed team Destiny.
With his many years of experience in various facets of the game - we are very excited to have @mikepaxson at the 2019 #PaintballCombine sharing his knowledge and his history with our many up and coming players. 🙌🏻
