THE DRILLS
Individual Drill 1 - Snap Shooting
Precision Under Pressure. Speed With Purpose.
One of the most important - but toughest skills to master in paintball is snap shooting. This challenge pushes players to the edge of their ability, testing both dominant and non-dominant hands in a high-pressure, time-limited format.
Shoot 10 shots per hand at a 10” target from 30 feet, with only 20 seconds on the clock.
Every miss adds time. Every hit sharpens your edge.
This isn’t just a drill - it’s a test of accuracy, efficiency, and mental control.
Think you’re fast? Think you’re sharp? Prove it.
Individual Drill 2 - Lateral Slide
Slide With Precision. Shoot With Discipline.
This isn’t just a footwork drill - it’s a complete test of agility, accuracy, and control. The Lateral Slide Combine Challenge pushes players to master coordinated movement, maintain proper sliding form, and deliver accurate shots while following a randomized shooting pattern.
Players sprint and slide 20 feet between bunkers, shooting at targets 35 feet away using coach-assigned presets. Every rep tests your ability to follow instructions, stay composed under pressure, and control your shots within strict time and accuracy limits.
Mistakes? They cost you seconds. Form? It matters.
Speed? It only helps if your shots land.
Think you’ve got clean slides and sharp shots? Prove it.
Individual Drill 3 - The Snake Drill
The Snake Challenge is the ultimate front-player time trial, built to test speed, control, and accuracy under pressure.
Players sprint, dive, and crawl through the snake while engaging targets at key points - balancing aggression with precision.
Every second counts, and penalties are applied for missed shots or improper form, making efficiency and control just as important as raw speed.
While it’s designed around front-player movement, this drill matters for every position.
In the closing moments of a match, any player can become the one pushing forward to close the game - and the Snake Drill reveals who can perform when it matters most.
It’s not just about who’s fastest - it’s about who can stay focused, smooth, and accurate when the pressure builds.
Individual Drill 4 - Running & Gunning
The Running & Shooting Drill measures one of the most essential fundamentals in paintball - the ability to stay accurate while on the move.
Players advance downfield while engaging multiple targets at varying distances, testing their balance, rhythm, and control.
Every shot matters - penalties are applied for missed targets or poor form, making focus and consistency just as critical as speed.
Running and shooting is a skill that separates great players from good ones. It ranks right alongside snap shooting as a top-level fundamental that every player should master.
This drill reveals who can maintain accuracy, stability, and timing while staying aggressive under pressure - the hallmark of a complete player.
Individual Drill 5 - Breakout Shooting
The Breakout Shooting Drill tests one of the most valuable team skills in paintball - winning the break.
At the start of every point, a team’s success often depends on its back players putting accurate paint in the air immediately. This challenge measures your accuracy, reaction speed, and lane control right off the start.
Players fire on long-distance targets under strict timing, earning points for precision and speed. Penalties apply for missed lanes, poor timing, or over-shooting, emphasizing efficiency over volume.
Every team needs reliable shooters who can control lanes and create early advantages.
This drill identifies who can lock in fast, stay steady, and dominate the first moments of the game.
